1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a quote, booking a delivery, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of AwesFleets.

2. Services Description

AwesFleets provides professional courier and logistics services throughout the United Kingdom, including but not limited to:

  • Same-day and scheduled parcel delivery
  • Multiple vehicle options (Small Van, Medium Van, Large Van, Luton Van)
  • Tail-lift services for heavy or bulky items
  • Online quote request and booking system

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

3. Quote Requests and Bookings

When you submit a quote request through our website:

  • You must provide accurate and complete information about your delivery requirements
  • Quote requests are not binding until confirmed by AwesFleets
  • We aim to respond to all quote requests within 1 hour during business hours
  • Prices are subject to change based on actual parcel weight, dimensions, and delivery requirements
  • Final pricing will be confirmed before service execution

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full before or upon completion of service, as agreed
  • We accept payment methods as communicated during booking confirmation
  • All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated
  • Prices include VAT where applicable
  • Additional charges may apply for services outside the original scope

5. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate pickup and delivery addresses and contact information
  • Ensuring parcels are properly packaged and labeled
  • Accurately declaring parcel contents, weight, and dimensions
  • Ensuring someone is available to hand over/receive parcels at agreed times
  • Complying with all applicable laws regarding the transport of goods
  • Not shipping prohibited or restricted items (see Section 6)

6. Prohibited and Restricted Items

We do not transport the following items:

  • Illegal substances or contraband
  • Hazardous materials (explosives, flammable liquids, corrosives)
  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Perishable food items (unless specifically agreed)
  • Live animals
  • Cash, jewelry, or high-value items without prior arrangement
  • Items that violate UK law or regulations

If prohibited items are discovered, we reserve the right to refuse delivery and report to appropriate authorities.

7. Liability and Insurance

  • AwesFleets carries goods at owner's risk unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • We exercise reasonable care in handling your parcels
  • Our liability for loss or damage is limited to £50 per parcel unless additional insurance is purchased
  • Claims for loss or damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (weather, traffic, etc.)
  • Additional insurance is available for high-value items upon request

8. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 2 hours before scheduled pickup: Full refund
  • Cancellations made less than 2 hours before pickup: 50% cancellation fee
  • No-shows or refused access at pickup: Full charge applies
  • If we cancel due to our inability to fulfill the service: Full refund
  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days

9. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. While we strive to meet all delivery times, AwesFleets is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, vehicle breakdowns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Claims and Disputes

  • All claims must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 48 hours
  • Include your booking reference, photos of damage, and detailed description
  • We will investigate all claims and respond within 7 business days
  • Any disputes will be governed by UK law and subject to UK jurisdiction

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • AwesFleets is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service
  • We are not liable for loss of business, profits, or opportunity costs
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of AwesFleets and protected by UK intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with UK GDPR.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
